Help and support is available for OCD and intrusive thoughts. Yes it can be very scary, but the sooner you act the better. Do not put it off. If you are afraid to talk, perhaps you could try writing things down and handing them to your doctor; alternatively there is self-help available that can enable you to get an understanding first.
